Proper licensing and insurances are expensive, they expire and they prove completion of continuing education requirements. Licensing protects you. The most common problem you will find is that the Qualifier or License Holder is not related to the business. Could this information be responsible for the difference in bid prices?

Certificates of Insurance should be mailed directly to you from the insurance agent prior to construction for: General Liability, Automobile and Worker's Compensation.
A sole proprietor with no employees should provide you with a copy of the State of Florida Worker's Compensation Exemption Certificate (which also requires renewal).
Improper licensing can shut down the construction on your site.
It is rare that a maintenance company is licensed to perform repairs to your pool and the equipment.
Always receive a Release of Lien for the payment amount!
You can rest assured that a Sunshine Pools worksite complies with OSHA regulations (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
